UNDER PRESSURE

Bear with me....it feels like I'm drowning....we have so much on our plates right now...and I'm not keeping up.
  • The girls and I are moving at the end of the month. There's so much to do.
  • I'm putting Rylee in a new school. The guilt surrounding that decision is immense.
  • The pups are home and fabulous....but still adding to the craziness here.
  • Have to get seeds started or there will NOT be a garden again.
  • Ten year anniversary in May...supposed to be special.
  • Everyone's in a hurry.
  • Put my Mom in the hospital Wednesday night. Scared me.
  • Did I mention, potty training puppies....yipes.
  • Purchasing, surveying and fencing part of our neighbour's land.
  • Second-guessing living apart (through the week) from Big Daddy.
  • Sourcing appropriate foods for Ry.
  • Day-to-day dealing with Autism.
  • Keeping up with my blog...everyone's blog.
  • Paperwork.
  • I feel the need to be baptized....NOW.
  • Preparing this house to be sold....eventually.
  • Extended family responsibilities.
  • Lifestyle changes....some friends and family are NOT on board.
  • I feel the need to just SLOW our lives down...kill the tv...radical, I know.

In a month from now...everything will look different...I'm sure. Hope you're here when I get back....

  1. Making a list can sure put things into perspective. Yes, you do have a full plate! But as you said, give it a month and things will have fallen into place. Do what you need to do. Don't worry - we will be here waiting for you!

  2. Life is short. Enjoy it. Do what is right for you. Who cares if people (family/friends) agree or disagree. One piece of advice I received that is very good to remember...I was a wife before a mother.

Killing TV is good. I've done that. I'm not back to Monday is x night and Tuesday is y night though. LOL! But I gotta unwind some how. How much Fresh Beat Band can a girl take?!?

TAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF. You have to. Take care. Wish I was there to help out. Whatever that help would be. Will help for homemade bread. :)

  3. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate. Will be sending positive thoughts and wishes your way and look forward to the continuing saga once things settle down (hopefully). Stay strong.

  5. My friend, I'm sending all the positive energy that I can muster up to you! I know you'll hndle it OK...but I wish that everything would slow down a bit for you!

Take a deep breath, take a step back...then just YELL at the top of your lungs!

  6. You can do it..Cath...you can...just one step at a time. To hell with what other family members say....Ry, J and Lyle are your immediate family and that is all that matters...the others are just on the outside looking in, not living it. Big hugs my friend...

  7. Cathy...
Like Penny, I too wish that I was closer to help...and agree with the others..only YOU know what works best for your family and that is all you can do....

If something gets missed, then tomorrow is a new day..I cant pretend to even know what you are going through...but if you ever just need to vent..I am a good listener..put the computer on CAP LOCKS and yell away.. :)

if you need to take a break, then we will certainly when you come back...you even inspired me to try me hand at organic...I ---yes me, bought a cleaning eating cookbook and made pumpkin and applesauce muffins...45 ingredients later, voila...who knew????
